Ella Hildago

Ella believes in two things: doing work you are proud of, and building strong relationships while you do it. That belief shows up in how she works with both clients and the team around her.

At 1 Bold Step, Ella is the person who keeps things moving. She runs sprint meetings, owns project management across accounts, and keeps communication tight between our team and our clients so that work does not just get planned, it actually gets done. Her days move between hands-on execution and keeping projects on track, whether that means building out campaigns and emails, managing HubSpot across client accounts, hosting the Grand Rapids HubSpot User Group (HUG), or running outreach that helps clients connect with new customers.

Ella joined 1 Bold Step as an intern shortly after earning her marketing degree from Grand Valley State University, and her role has grown well beyond where it started. That range is a big part of what makes her effective. She understands how the pieces of a client’s marketing fit together because she has had a hand in most of them.

Outside of work, Ella loves being outdoors, whether that is hiking, playing pickleball, or spending time at the beach. She is an avid reader and an active part of her church community, where she serves on the worship team.
